Hello IGWers,

We go back to the Dotcom bust to find an innovation that did not quite make it. That invention of course was the Digiscent. The purpose of the Digiscent was to waft aromas from your computer right to your nose. Think about all of the videos and pictures you look at in a given day. Wouldn’t it be horrible to have to smell some of things. I certainly think it would.

The Digiscent concept raises some new ideas today especially if it ever comes back.

1. Can you subscribe to Digiscents via RSS?
2. What happens if multiple windows are open? Can you smell different smells?
3. Are some smells restricted?
4. Do smells differ with different internet connections?

To more innovation gone wrong!
